Black Flower Agency was brought on board by Hot & Sunny Productions to secure and manage the film’s strategic sponsorships and related event activations during a three-market film premiere and screening series. Beginning in Los Angeles, the agency secured a financial sponsor and leveraged its involvement to create an experiential art event for top collectors and investors. The day began with access to contemporary artist Aaron Curry’s studio with a moderated discussion, a tour of Julian Rosefeldt’s exhibit at Hauser & Wirth hosted by the artist and culminated with guests walking the red carpet at the HBO premier at the Hammer Museum with a private cocktail reception attended by artist Marilyn Minter. The agency secured a high jewelry and watch sponsor to bring awareness to the company’s art foundation and increase its customer base. Two private screenings and dinners hosted by the film’s Director and Producers were organized in San Francisco and Miami. Both were attended by an eclectic mix of private art collectors, contemporary art museum patrons, art world “influencers” and featured film talents. The final results proved a success for all involved sponsors reaching individual goals, as well as for the documentary producers securing brand aligned sponsors that assisted with funding of the film.
